HUNGER-THE WORST CRY

Have you ever experienced hunger? A hunger of 2 hours can drive you mad and burst out of anger . But there are more than 19 crore people starving and sleeping hungry every night in India. “Children are born, their hearts are torn, When there’s no food to eat, no shelter nor heat.” We have usually seen people giving poor people some money and then expecting them to buy some food and fill their tummies but have you ever checked where does this money go? There are certain people who force children to beg and then this money is used in buying cigarettes and alcohol by elders! “Starving and homeless,in need of food and clean water -know that you are not forgotten” We have everything given in our hands that’s why we do not understand the hunger to achieve something.Giving children some time of joy and filling their empty stomach can give you a lot of self satisfaction and put a smile on your face. Let all the students use our brains and valuable time to make their life filled with happiness. WE ARE THE CHANGE WHO WILL BRING ABOUT THE CHANGE IN THE SOCIETY AND MAKE IT A BETTER PLACE OF LIVING , FREE FROM HUNGER, POVERTY AND TEARS!

E.X.P.E.R.I.E.N.C.E.S.
The greatest teacher in your life is the “LIFE” itself .When you take birth you are actually admitting yourself in the school of life and the care you are taken off at that time is same as your parents queue up for those admission forms with a delight for a better future .Just as you have a mother teacher in your “KGs” you have your parents ,looking for you ,till you stand on your legs….. People generally spoon feed their children with supports to walk but those children who self dependently want to walk they take their first move but rather fall …they stand up again now their legs have turned more stronger …see life taught you a lesson ….Fail but never fall ….have you ever wondered that failure could be First Attempt In Learning …..you make mistake but make a point that you don’t repeat .The curriculum of the LIFE school is very simple ,you are the only student with no books nor your favourite “PT” periods but just an empty container your “Brain”,there is just one who runs the whole school that is the ” Life”. You do have your periodic test but without any notice nor a timetable …. How come if life tests you with a notice ,then why would there be any fall ,all would pass right? The syllabus is very simple just you and yourself and self -introspection ,you just have 4 sections in the paper 1)Observation:To observe whats happening with you . 2)Identification: Why is happening to you and only you .Its as simple as finding sources of error in practicals. 3)Experiments:On the basis of your observed and identified knowledge you need now to experiment by using various ways ,risks are there but do take them and try hard. You might have problems but learn to adjust your apparatus 4)Conclusion: These are most vital of all because these are the results of your efforts ,you might get an entirely different conclusion than what your aim was ,as its your EXPERIMENT . Once you are done then formulate your own laws just like “My anger will be inversely proportional to greed to be happy” the more you want to be happy the less you will be angry.!

MUHARRAM

Zoya Mukri
8-D

MUHARRAM : the month of sacrifice. Muharram is the first and one of the holy months of Islamic calendar . The Muharram festival is actually a period of mourning where Muslims commemorate the martyrdom of Imam Hussain , the son of Hazrat Ali and grandson of Prophet Muhammed (peace be upon him) , on the 10th day of Muharram (Ashura)In the battle of Karbala ( city in present day Iraq ) which was a battle of right versus wrong. Around 14 centuries ago on the day of Ashura , Imam Hussain was brutally killed by the tyrant ruler of those times for standing for justice and equality. Imam Hussain faced the oppressors numbering in thousands with his humble army of 72 which included childrens too , inspite of knowing the outcome of the battle. Although Imam Hussain was killed in the battle of Karbala , his message lives on , hence pronouncing his victory. He fought against the forces of evil and laid his life to uphold the glory of Islam. Muslims fast on this day and take out processions in the towns and villages remembering their Imam. They setup sabeels and feed poor in honor of the memory of Imam Hussain and his followers. Hussain said ” those who are silent when others are oppressed are guilty of oppression themselves”. If people follow this thinking , it would solve most of the problems being faced by our society today.

THE UNBREAKABLE VASE……

THE UNBREAKABLE VASE……

Once upon a time, in a country not far from the oceans , where trade flourished and the king was just , there lived a potter. He was the best potter in the country . There was no pot he ever had made wrong. His pottery skills were equally praised by both men and gods equal. He was a humble and an honest potter. His good skills at both pottery and dealing with difficult situations made him famous and lovable all over. One fine day, as the sun shone brightly and the potter got up to work, he thought of making an unbreakable vase. The potter decided to make it the most beautiful and astounding vase in the world. He began to make the vase. He made it with his love and care. His passion just added to its beauty. After 2 days of hard work, the vase was complete. It was so beautiful that the potter decided to never sell it. The vase had captured his heart and was dear to him. Meanwhile, in the abode of the Gods, Petra, the god of pottery saw the potter making the vase and immediately decided that he will conquer the vase anyhow. He talked to the potter to give him the vase in turn of a lifetime supply of riches and grain. However , the potter was reluctant to give anyone the vase, may it be a god or human. The vase was unbreakable because it was made with all his skills and it occupied the space in the bottom of his heart. There was no way he could give. Petra surprised by his confidence went back. He had planned revenge on the potter and the vase he loved so much. After a few days, a robbery occurred in the Royal palace. The thief was unidentified and the guards looked in everyone’s house for the loot. The looted material was found in the unbreakable vase! Everyone was shocked. The potter was sentenced to death. He however, had died of shock and grief that his vase, which he loved so much, had caught him up in the jail. The actual thing that happened was that Petra had helped the robber hide the loot in the vase. It wasn’t a difficult task for a god to whisper in a robber’s ears to guide him where to hide his loot so that he wasn’t caught. The house of the potter now bears the sign “There was once a kind potter who lived here and made a vase dear to his heart which broke on its own when the kind old man died in the prison.” (This is pure work of fiction. There is no such god as PETRA in any of the mythologies.)

Promises by a child to Mother Gaia (Earth)

Promises by a child to Mother Gaia(Earth)

Celebrated Ganesha ustav ,readers??No, it’s okay then. If yes, then you surely must have used a eco-friendly idol of Lord Ganesha. If yes, you are a true Earthman. If no, you must know that you are a criminal. Shocked?? Don’t be, since there are many like you who don’t know the rules of the nature which are to be compulsorily followed. Think again. Not every Ganesha drowned in the water must have dissolved into the water. Promoting such things , our T.V. shows celebrate these festivals with loud music and non organic Ganeshas. I have no problem with any festival, any religion, any community or any society. I am just saying had Lord Ganesha asked us to celebrate his birthday in such a way that causes such destruction to the earth? No. It is we who have done this. It is not any festival or god causing pollution and degradation of Mother Gaia but we ourselves. So let’s swear by the Styx to not cause any degradation to the nature in the name of God. Let’s promise Mother Gaia to be her good children as we are of our own mothers. Anyways….try to improve and all the best to keep your promise. It will be hard but not impossible.

WORLD DEMOCRACY DAY

WORLD DEMOCRACY DAY

All of us live in a democratic country. The one which has been since 70 years and has fought troubles of POVERTY,CORRUPTION,TERRORISM and RELIGIOUS SEGREGATION more bravely than any other country of the world. Let’s not go into much details since we our motherland better than anyone else. Tomorrow, is 15th of September and World Democracy Day. What’s the history behind it?Let’s talk about it. Athens(present day Greece),was the world’s first democratic nation and on this very day, it eradicated the unjust rule of monarchy and became democratic with the principle of UNIVERSAL ADULT FRANCHISE in the year 769,B.C.E. All people lived ever happily afterwards till the Trojan war. A happy story, right? But is democracy the solution to all the problems? The answer , unfortunately,is no. Democracy has not only led to people becoming competitive to become the lucky voted authority but also corrupt to prove that they have money and are an important part of the society. We are bound by a set of rules, called the Constitution , to stand , see and wait for the government to make wrong right . Until then, the criminal must have got a passport and a recognition as a citizen of some other foreign land. We have to obey some person who acts as an authority voted by us and be robots(read fools). How is it democracy then? How is it people’s rule if a single person or a single group? This was not what the Athenians called democracy. This not what we had to become. The world has understood democracy as ‘the Rule of Voted Monarchs’ instead of ‘the Rule of People’. We need to move towards a better tomorrow for democracy will live on even if we don’t.

Lord Ganesha

Aastha Jeswani

Lord Ganesha
The story of lord Ganesha starts from when,
Shiv Ji was not allowed to enter the house.
Then came out his anger,
By cutting the head of Ganesha.
Then he was asked to bring a head for the son,
He got the head of an elephant.
Then mighty powers were given to the Lord,
So that his name is taken before every work.
Lord Ganesha-favourite of all,
For children from small to tall.
All of us enjoy this festival,
Which is very joyful.
For lord Ganesha we wish and sing,
For happiness and prosperity to bring.
May lord Ganesha bless everyone of us,
And teach us to adjust.

IMPORTANCE OF TIME MANAGEMENT

Tanvi Thakkar

IMPORTANCE OF TIME MANAGEMENT
T-Task I-Immediate M-Management E-Execution ‘Time’ a four letter word but the most important part in one’s life. Some people blame time for not being successful or having poor financial status. All people in the world have the same number of hours in a day but among them only some of them are able to accomplish their goal. Time Management provides a systematic working set up which helps us to knock the door of success without struggle or may be with lesser struggles. Time Management is very important in one’s life to be successful. After getting up in the first thing you should do is to ‘eat the frog’, here the frog is the most important task to be achieved by you in that day of 24 hours.Remember that successful people are those who base their output on timekeeping ensuring that every minute counts! The four days of holidays could be a blessing from Lord Ganesha if well executed not only to manage time well during exam but also to manage time and find’ME TIME’.

Line of Control

Line of Control
The zebra crossings stop me,
People teach me religion,
when they haven’t read it themselves,
My thoughts are dwindling.
Everything seems so scary,
And uncertainty haunts my mind;
As I yearn to move forward.
