My Summer Vacation Plans

Amrit Jangra
9A

What am I going to do during the holidays? This is the most difficult question for most of the children except me. My hobby is reading and I love to write poetry. All I would do is eat, sleep, read and repeat. This would get me on cloud nine! I would also study a bit and would do all the things that I won’t be able to do when the school starts. I want to …(Read More)

THE CHARIOT OF DREAMS

Anushka Dubey
8th – B

DREAMS!What are they? Are they what we want or are they deep desires and endeavours? We may also term them as our longings. People also consider the imaginative and vivid sleeps as dreams. But as the great Ex-president of our country, Dr A.P.J Abdul Kalam once said “Dreams are not what you see in sleep but are what don’t let us sleep!” Dreams are actually what we desire and our …(Read More)

THOUGHT ON SCHOOLS AND SOCIETIES

Yash Kamath
Std:11A

When we think of societies, we think of people living together, bonded by a cultural and/or economical identity. We think of them as being shaped by politics and money and all the other factors delivered by the media to our brains. In reality, what makes us a society is not money, or politics, but the thought of collective welfare. In simple terms- I take care of your needs, so you take care of mine. Some would like me to use- A friend in need is a friend in deed, but that’s a bit different. Of course, I would link …(Read More)

Truth and Honesty: Real Lesson of Life

Kritika Jha
VII A

What can we understand from the word “truth”? It is all about telling the matter even if the result goes out wrong. Our life is very special and making good things out of it is very important. My parents always tell me that if you speak the truth, you don’t have to remember anything on a special basis. Being honest and truthful always helps you by building your character. It creates faith in people. Therefore, being truthful and honest is always beneficial.

The Butterfly

Nidhi Kulkarni
VIID

I watched a butterfly go from a Lily to a petunia,
I wanted to catch it but away it flew.
I followed it so carefully that I didn’t know where I went
But then I realised I had just reached home.
The next day I saw, it was in my school
But I couldn’t catch it Cause I was swimming in the pool.
When it was really near me, I stopped to secure it,
But it went from a petunia to a Lily

Loneliness

Adya Arushi
VI A

I love the meadows passing by,
lovely with waving crops,
But now lonely roads and leaves rustling by,
The memories have turned to tear drops.
I missed the time you were here,
You are the one who was so near….(Read More)

MUSIC

Vinnayakaa Lalchandani
VII-C

Music plays an integral and essential role in our life. There are various types of music which we can enjoy according to our need and requirement. Some of us are habituated to listen to music during study time, playing indoor or outdoor games and other moments. However, everyone wants to listen to music in their spare time to get some enjoyment and relaxation. Listening to soothing music gives us relief and peace and makes us healthy mentally and spiritually. It helps us to get prevented from the metal and emotional problems all through the life. I love music a lot and will listen to it always.
