How do we really live our life?
\nDo we go to a hill on a hike,
\nOr do we hit the empty roads on a bike?
\nOpen the car windows and dance our fingers with the air,
\nOr do the wildest dare possible without having to care?
\nEat a pint of ice cream without a worry of being fat?
\nOr Be the bigger person and text the people we miss, y’know?
\nHave a good chat.
\nCut our hair short,
\nPlay a new sport,
\nSpeak up for what’s right,
\nConnect and vocalise!
\nExploring new things,
\nAnd giving ourselves time,
\nHmm, also realising not all poems have to rhyme!
\nYou are awaiting unending experiences!
\nTake chances.
\nPerhaps living our lives to the fullest is living it however you want.
\nBe it knitting a sweater or be it going on an adventure,
\nYou choose your pathway to happiness.
\nAs long as you’re happy,
\nDoes anything else really matter?
\nDoing experiments with things that are in your control.
\nWorrying less and being on a roll,
