The Soldiers Poem…. <\/p>\n
For all the free people that still protest, You’re WELCOME.
\nWe protest you and we are protected by the best.
\nYour voice is strong and loud,
\nbut who will fight for you? No one standing in your crowd.
\nWe are your fathers,brothers, and sons,
\nwearing the boots and carrying guns.
\nWe are the ones that we leave our own,
\nto make sure your future is carved in stone.
\nWe are the ones who fight and die,
\nWe might not be able to save the world,
\nWell!! at least we try.
\nWe walked the paths to where we are at
\nAnd we want no choice other than that.
\nSo when you rally your group to complain,
\nTake a look in the back of your brain.
\nIn order for that flag you love to fly
\nWars must be fought and young men must die.
\nWe came here to fight for ones we hold dear.
\nIf that’s not respected, we would rather stay here.
\nSo please, stop yelling, put down your signs,
\nand pray for those behind enemy lines.
\nAnd then when the conflict is over and all is well,
\nBe thankful that we chose to go through hell.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
